A great number of F1 fans are in support of the championship adding an 11th team to the grid, following a recent RacingNews365 poll.
F1 released a statement of intent to add a General Motors entry to the grid from 2026, should the new team be ratified.
If successful, it will see the Cadillac brand arrive, before becoming the outfit's power unit supplier from 2028.
For its first two seasons, the GM/Cadillac outfit, with Mario Andretti as a director, is expected to run either Ferrari or Honda engines.
Remarkably, a staggering 90% of those who voted in the poll, believe F1 is making the right decision not only adding an 11th team but also adding GM/Cadillac.
