The film, which will be released to cinema in June 2025, had a star-studded cast and is being directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
Apple Original Films and Formula 1 have since announced the film will be called F1.
The production crew have been filming at grand prix weekends since the British Grand Prix last season and captured the bulk of its racing footage during the 2023 season.
The plot is centred on Brad Pitt as former F1 driver lured back into the championship to fight for the fictional team APXGP alongside a rookie team-mate, played by Damson Idris.
The film will include all 10 real-life teams, the drivers, race promoters and FIA to add a sense of realism and authenticity.
