Alex Albon has received a five-second time penalty for causing a collision with Lewis Hamilton, in the opening stages of the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
While fighting for position, Albon made contact with Hamilton at Turn 14, resulting in front wing damage for the Williams driver.
He dropped to last after pitting for repairs, unlike Hamilton who navigated his way from 19th on the grid to eighth by the end of lap 21/50.
Things quickly worsened for Albon, as he also received a reprimand for a starting procedure infringement.
