Charles Leclerc starred to his second victory of the 2024 F1 season with a dream win on Ferrari's home turf at Monza.

Despite the seismic win, much of the post-race headlines went to McLaren who missed out on a 1-2 finish after locking out the front row during qualifying.

But who impressed and who did not during the Italian Grand Prix?

Check out the full RacingNews365 driver ratings below and let us know what you think in the comments.

The top five

Charles Leclerc - 9.5

Conceded to the fact he will not be winning the F1 title this year, Charles Leclerc can take solace in the two victory trophies he added to his cabinet this year. Adding a Monza win to his Monaco success will put a smile on his face - and with his victory in Italy coming as a result of a daring strategy that was perfectly executed by both team and driver, it's no surprise he is this week's top pick.

Oscar Piastri - 9

Monza seemed to be something of a breakout weekend for Piastri - although he couldn't pip Norris in qualifying, he was stronger in the race and had the guts to pull off a brave Turn 4 overtake on his team-mate. His growth is exceptional and a victory just slipped out of his hands, but it was undoubtedly one of his strongest drives to date in the sport.

Carlos Sainz - 8

Sainz was out-performed by Leclerc during the race at Monza - but it does not automatically trigger a poor rating for the Spaniard. Sainz showed solid pace throughout on the one-stop strategy and played a crucial role in Leclerc's victory by holding up a surging Piastri for a short period.

Alex Albon - 8

Williams has traditionally performed well at the Monza Circuit and this year was no different with Albon managing to bag a crucial point for the Grove-based outfit. Making Q3 and finishing inside the top 10 capped a tidy weekend for Albon as Williams continue to chase Alpine in the constructors' standings.

Franco Colapinto - 7.5

Let's give some love to the debutant - having had only days to prepare himself for a grand prix debut, Colpainto executed the weekend extremely well, barring his little blip during qualifying. He was never embarrassed by team-mate Albon and rose several positions in the race to take 12th place.

The bottom five

Nico Hulkenberg - 5

On a day when team-mate Kevin Magnussen scored points, it's hard to argue against Hulkenberg having the same opportunity. However a messy start placed him on the back foot and ultimately ruined his race on a rare off day for the Haas driver this year.

Esteban Ocon - 5

Having scored points at the last two events, Monza marked a difficult outing for Alpine. Ocon was neither here nor there during the weekend and stumbled across the finish line one position ahead of team-mate Gasly.

Pierre Gasly - 5

Similarly to Ocon, Gasly just didn't have much to fight with last weekend in a disappointing weekend for the Alpine squad. Little progress could be made from his uncompetitive qualifying position.

Zhou Guanyu - 4.5

Starting from dead last on the grid, Zhou struggled to extract pace from the car during the race and sat at the back end of the order throughout to cross the line in 18th. Although team-mate Valtteri Bottas enjoyed a stronger outing, Stake is still awaiting its first point of the year.

Lance Stroll - 4

Out-classed by Fernando Alonso in qualifying, Stroll's race didn't have the pace to bring home a strong result - in the final lap he pitted for fresh softs in an attempt to take the fastest lap, but still came up short.
