Adrian Newey

Will Red Bull's title-winning F1 form disappear after Newey's exit?

Adrian Newey is leaving Red Bull, but how badly that affects Red Bull remains to be seen. Let us know what you think by voting in the latest RacingNews365 poll.

Adrian Newey is leaving Red Bull. It is official; the news has broken. The titan of F1 engineering and design will depart the team after 19 years to seek pastures new.

It is not yet known where the 65-year-old will ultimately land, although a move to Ferrari is the early front-runner, but the effect on Red Bull could be severe.

Having joined the Milton Keynes-based squad from McLaren in 2006, Newey has designed the team to six F1 constructors' titles and seven drivers' championships - four for Sebastian Vettel and three for Max Verstappen, although that well could be five by the end of the current regulations cycle.

With Newey stepping back from design work immediately, with a confirmed departure date of early in 2025, how much his leaving will impact Red Bull may not be truly known until the start of the 2026 season.

So, it begs the question: Will Red Bull's title-winning form disappear once he leaves the team?
