Video: First F1 2023 car hits the track

Just days after their launch event, Alfa Romeo have become the first F1 team to run their 2023 car on the track.

A 2023 F1 car has hit the track for the first time, with Alfa Romeo releasing footage of their challenger up and running. Days after launching the C43, the squad have held a shakedown for the new car in Barcelona. While other teams have put in laps in older equipment, Alfa Romeo are the first to put their 2023 vehicle through its paces. Valtteri Bottas was the first to get behind the wheel, and a clip shared by the team on social media shows the Finn driving out of the pits. Zhou Guanyu is likely to take over for the afternoon.
