Oscar Piastri's lead in the F1 drivers' title has increased to nine points, following the Sprint race at the Belgian Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen secured victory to reduce his deficit to Piastri to 68 points, with the Australian having finished in second.

Piastri's nearest title rival, McLaren team-mate Lando Norris, had to settle for third, resulting in the Briton slipping a further point adrift.

With McLaren having secured second and third in the sprint at Spa-Francorchamps, its advantage in the constructors' standings has increased.
