Biography of F1 driver Isack Hadjar

The Franco-Algerian driver became a Red Bull junior in 2022, making his debut in the FIA Formula 3 Championship and finishing fourth that season. In 2023, he stepped up to Formula 2 with Hitech Pulse-Eight, finishing fourteenth in the championship. Hadjar then moved to Campos Racing in 2024, where he finished second in a fiercely contested championship battle with Gabriel Bortoleto. Isack Hadjar will be competing for Racing Bulls in 2025, making his Formula 1 debut alongside teammate Yuki Tsunoda.

Karting and the transition to single-seaters 

At the age of seven, Hadjar began competitive karting in 2012. After participating in various national championships, he progressed to international karting in 2017. Subsequently, in 2019, the Franco-Algerian was able to make the step up to single-seaters in the French Formula 4 championship. In the following years, he competed in Formula Regional, the Formula Regional Asian Championship, and the Formula 3 Asian Championship. In 2022, Hadjar was able to move up to the FIA Formula 3 Championship, where he finished fourth.

Isack Hadjar From Formula 2 to Formula 1 

Isack Hadjar made his Formula 2 debut in 2023 with Hitech Pulse-Eight. That year, he finished fourteenth, two points behind his teammate Jak Crawford. For 2024, Hadjar switched to Campos Racing, where he partnered with another Red Bull junior, Pepe Martí. This was an extremely successful season, with the Franco-Algerian narrowly missing out on the title, which was decided in the very last lap of the season. Hadjar ultimately finished second in the Formula 2 championship behind champion Gabriel Bortoleto.

 On Friday, December 20, 2024, it was announced that Isack Hadjar would be racing full-time for Racing Bulls in the 2025 Formula 1 season, the sister team to Red Bull. He will be partnered with Yuki Tsunoda.
