Max Verstappen has extended his championship lead after winning the opening sprint race of the 2024 Formula 1 season.
After overcoming early race struggles, Verstappen stormed into the distance after moving to the head of the pack midway through the race.
Lewis Hamilton secured his highest point-finish of the season so far with the runner-up spot.
