Lando Norris held on for victory by the thinnest of margins over Oscar Piastri to take victory in the Hungarian Grand Prix.

In doing so, the McLaren driver trimmed his team-mate's F1 drivers' championship lead from 16 points to just nine at the summer break.

George Russell, who finished third, trimmed Max Verstappen's stranglehold in third to 15 points.

Pole-sitter Charles Leclerc endured a torrid afternoon, despite a bright start. His five-second time penalty for erratic driving made no difference to the race result - or the drivers' standings. He finished fourth and remains fifth on 151 points.

McLaren's fourth one-two finish in a row further strengthens its huge lead in the constructors' championship. It is now on 559 points to Ferrari's 260 in second place.

Valuable points for Aston Martin and Stake mean both teams are now sixth and seventh, respectively, in the table.
