Oscar Piastri has extended his lead in the F1 drivers' title to 34 points after converting pole position into victory at the Dutch Grand Prix.

Title rival and McLaren team-mate Lando Norris had been in second for much of the race, but suffered a late power unit failure and retired, causing the major increase in his points deficit.

Max Verstappen finished second at home but has fallen 104 points behind Piastri, further decreasing his chances of a fifth consecutive title.

In the constructors' title, McLaren has moved further ahead of Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull.
