Lando Norris has extended his lead at the top of the drivers' championship after his run to second place at the Chinese Grand Prix.

The Briton finished one place behind team-mate and race-winner Oscar Piastri, who bounced back strongly from his difficult season-opening round in Australia.

McLaren's strong 1-2 finish in the race has seen it create a gap to the competition behind in the constructors' standings.

A strong race for Haas has seen it lift itself from the bottom of the standings and into seventh place.
