A Formula 1 car consists of around 16,000 parts, of which 10 percent will carry over year-on-year.
It's high speed research and development for teams, with cars constantly evolving over the course of a 20-race season.
To achieve this, parts must go through many different departments in a factory over the course of weeks which involves taking a concept, putting it through the design process, and delivering it on track.
