Sick Verstappen struggles at Zandvoort as Norris storms to pole
George Russell converted Sprint pole into sprint victory in Zandvoort, but it was reigning world champion Lando Norris who secured pole position for the Dutch Grand Prix! Russell was his closest challenger and had to settle for second. Lewis Hamilton, after a difficult Sprint, recovered somewhat in qualifying by claiming fifth on the grid, directly ahead of Charles Leclerc. However, the pressure was on the seven-time world champion who was eighth with one lap left in Q3, a moment which made his "heart sink".
