Video: Red Bull's alternative approach to F1 car reveals through the years

The F1 team of Red Bull has officially announced they will present the new RB16B on February 23. It's not expected to be a big show. In fact, don't be surprised if the team only decides to release a single photo of the car on the day of the launch. They have always taken a different approach to such events - as the videos below demonstrate.

While 2021 will be Sergio Perez's debut car launch as a Red Bull Racing driver, this year's event certainly isn't going to be Max Verstappen's first rodeo. The Dutchman has been at the team since 2016, though interestingly enough, he missed that season's launch event as he was still a Toro Rosso driver at the time.

While that season's reveal was still full of pomp and ceremony, over time, this would gradually give way to an altogether more low-key affair. In 2017, Red Bull's F1 car launch was similarly flashy, but from 2018 onwards, we merely had to make do with a studio picture.

With that being said, Red Bull's simplistic take on car presentations is somewhat justified by the fact that, generally speaking, very few changes are ever made to the livery (although you should keep an eye out below for the few exceptions to that rule).

Check out the videos below of every Red Bull car presentation since 2016.
