It's already been quite the weekend off-track at the United States Grand Prix for Formula 1 - but the cars are about to finally hit the circuit.

Red Bull's minor cost cap breach is talk of the paddock, with RacingNews365.com revealing that the breach was about $1.8 million in four major areas.

Discussions are ongoing between the team and the FIA to reach a settlement at Austin as F1 is in Texas for the ninth time.

Last year's race drew in 400,000 fans across the weekend as the F1 boom in America continues to expand - with an American driver set to take to the track in FP1 in Logan Sargeant for Williams.

He is joined by fellow FP1 drivers Antonio Giovinazzi (Haas), Robert Shwartzman (Ferrari), Alex Palou (McLaren) and Theo Pourchaire (Alfa Romeo).
