Video: Why grid penalties could decide the F1 title fight between Hamilton and Verstappen

Formula 1 in 2021 has seen one of the most exciting title fights in years play out. Just five points separate Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen and grid penalties could decide who wins the championship.

This year's Formula 1 title fight between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen has been a thriller on and off the track.

There are just eight rounds remaining with five points separating the championship protagonists heading into this weekend's Russian Grand Prix.

Due to the limit on the number of engines which can be used each season, Verstappen will take a grid penalty at some point in the run-in whilst Hamilton is also likely to start one race towards the back of the grid.

In our latest RacingNews365.com video, we take a look at how grid penalties could be a crucial factor in the intense, tantalising title fight between Hamilton and Verstappen.
