Russell survives Verstappen charge as Colapinto causes crash chaos
George Russell survived a late charge from Max Verstappen to win the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, crossing the line just 0.196s ahead of the four-time world champion! Russell now sits 66 points behind Kimi Antonelli, who recovered to fifth from 16th on the grid.
The race had been a largely uneventful affair, until an Alex Albon crash triggered a safety car that resulted in one of the most chaotic restarts in recent years. Franco Colapinto took out Pierre Gasly and Lando Norris, with the latter calling for a race ban!
