And now, the end is near, and so we face the final day of F1 pre-season testing.
Just three days of action are all the teams and drivers get ahead of the new season, with the next time they'll be on track after today being the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend between February 29th and March 2nd.
Eight hours - minus any red flags or any broken drain covers - are left, with Carlos Sainz being the stand-out driver on Day 2, becoming the first driver to break the 1:30 barrier of the test on the C4 tyres.
His effort of 1:29.921 was only two-tenths slower than Max Verstappen's pole time from the 2023 race and bodes well as Charles Leclerc also showed a good turn of pace.
But Verstappen's pace on Day 1 was sinister, ending it over one second clear of the field.
Who will end testing fastest and head into the Bahrain GP next weekend on a high and who will still have work to do?
