Charles Leclerc put Ferrari on top of the timesheets on the second morning of the F1 pre-season test at the Bahrain International Circuit as a red flag curtailed the session.
The Monégasque ran over a drain cover at Turn 11 to bring a premature end to the early running, leaving the afternoon session to be extended to make up for lost time.
McLaren's Oscar Piastri was second fastest ahead of Logan Sargeant for Williams and Red Bull's Sergio Perez, who was hampered early on by brake issues.
Fernando Alonso was fifth for Aston Martin, 1.4 seconds down on Leclerc's best effort of a 1:31.750. Lewis Hamilton followed for Mercedes ahead of Stake F1 driver Zhou Guanyu, Alpine's Pierre Gasly and Haas' Nico Hulkenberg.
