And Day 1 of 2024 pre-season testing ended just as most of 2023 did with Max Verstappen fastest for Red Bull.
On Wednesday, he clocked over 140 laps - nearly three race distances in the RB20 ending nearly a second clear of nearest challenger Lando Norris in the McLaren, who had just under half the laps after his afternoon stint.
Carlos Sainz was also troubling near the top of the time sheets as was RB's Daniel Ricciardo as 18 of the 20 drivers took to the track.
Only Lewis Hamilton and Sergio Perez did not with George Russell and Verstappen getting full days in the car. Hamilton is set for a full day on Thursday, whilst Perez will split with Verstappen before getting his full eight hours on Friday.
But what will happen on the second day of pre-season testing - will anyone challenge Red Bull?
