After a three week hiatus, the 2021 Formula 1 season resumes with the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on April 16-18.
It's the first European round of the year and it's F1's second consecutive appearance at Imola after it returned to the calendar in 2020.
Lewis Hamilton leads the way heading into Imola although Max Verstappen and Red Bull are set to provide a stiff challenge to Mercedes.
Ferrari and McLaren are close on pace whilst the rest of the midfield is as close as ever with AlphaTauri appearing to have an advantage over Alpine and Aston Martin.
All the action gets underway on Friday April 16 with two practice sessions, followed by a third on Saturday prior to qualifying.
All the practice sessions have been reduced from 90 minutes to just one hour, while qualifying remains untouched. After that comes the second race of the season on Sunday.
