Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas has gone fastest in the second practice session at Imola, ahead of Sunday's Emilia Romagna GP.

Bottas led a Mercedes 1-2, with the session ending early due to a red flag as Ferrari's Charles Leclerc crashed in the closing minutes.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen was the biggest casualty of the session, with the Dutch driver eliminated ten minutes into second practice as he encountered a broken driveshaft while on a flying lap.
