Toto Wolff has diluted his joint control of Mercedes in a major move for the Formula 1 team.

Wolff had been a one-third owner of the Brackley-based squad, alongside Mercedes-Benz, and Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS group.

Charles Leclerc learns fate after stewards' investigation

Charles Leclerc has avoided a penalty following an investigation from the F1 stewards after Thursday practice in Las Vegas.

Leclerc ended the opening session of the weekend on top of the timesheet before placing third at the end of FP2.

Charles Leclerc has ended the opening practice session from Las Vegas on top of the timesheets!

The first outing of the weekend was held in dusty conditions as the lap times tumbled while the circuit had rubber laid down.

2025 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix - Free Practice 2 results

Lando Norris topped the second free practice session for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, going 29 milliseconds faster than Kimi Antonelli in second.

Charles Leclerc, who was fastest in FP1, rounded out the top three, ahead of Nico Hulkenberg and Isack Hadjar. Oscar Piastri ended the hour down in P14.

Max Verstappen rejects Red Bull evidence in Las Vegas

Max Verstappen is adamant that just because Red Bull has been strong at low downforce tracks of late, it does not guarantee success in the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The Dutchman dismissed the comparison between circuits of a similar profile to the one in Sin City, on account of the idiosyncrasies of the conditions in Nevada.

Liam Lawson shares true feelings after Isack Hadjar issues apology

Liam Lawson has revealed how Isack Hadjar apologised to him after their final lap contact in the Brazilian Grand Prix. 

With Lawson attempting a one-stop strategy, he was running in seventh, with Hadjar leading a DRS train of chasing cars down to Fernando Alonso in 14th.
