Lando Norris topped the second free practice session for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, going 29 milliseconds faster than Kimi Antonelli in second.
Charles Leclerc, who was fastest in FP1, rounded out the top three, ahead of Nico Hulkenberg and Isack Hadjar. Oscar Piastri ended the hour down in P14.
The session was temporarily halted by a red flag stoppage with just over 20 minutes to go, due to a suspected loose manhole cover between Turn 16 and 17.
After Carlos Sainz's Ferrari was seriously damaged by a similar issue in 2023, the FIA was unwilling to take any risks, with the interruption a precautionary measure whilst checks were conducted.
When the session resumed with around five minutes to run, Leclerc pulled to one side by Turn 5 with a suspected gearbox issue.
Shortly following that, a second, session-ending red flag was thrown...
