Lewis Hamilton has taken to the professional networking platform LinkedIn to reflect on his most recent year of work, his first with Ferrari in F1.
The seven-time F1 drivers' champion highlighted how technology and AI are "reshaping our industries", in a post designed to encourage and inspire people to embrace change.
"One year ago, I began a new chapter with Scuderia Ferrari HP," the 105-time grand prix winner wrote.
"It was a massive leap and with that comes a lot of learning. Whether you’re switching teams in F1 or pivoting in your own career, your willingness to learn will be your biggest advantage.
"Transitioning in this environment requires developing and redeveloping skills, like high-stakes collaboration and adaptability, while quickly picking up new ones to bridge the gap.
"As we head into the season opener in Australia, I’m reflecting on how much the landscape of "work" is changing for all of us.
"Technology and AI are reshaping our industries, and while that can feel fast, it’s also a massive opportunity to future-proof how we lead and create.
"Leadership can depend on how quickly you adapt to changes and are willing to evolve. That's what I did in my first year. I saw opportunities to learn and I took them."
Hamilton's words of wisdom concluded with some friendly advice to "stay curious" and seek out the less conventional path.
"My advice? Stay curious. Don't just focus on the traditional routes. Invest in the skills that make you human and the tools that make you faster. Your path is yours to create. Let’s make this season one to remember. Andiamo," he added with a red racing car and a red love heart emoji.
After a dismal campaign with the Scuderia in 2025, there is significant attention on the British driver and how he will fare at the start of a new regulations era in F1.
His detractors have implored him to walk away from the championship after he routinely appeared dejected during media duties last year during his prolonged struggle to grapple with his new Ferrari machinery.
However, the 41-year-old has maintained his commitment and insists he is not going anywhere, recently sharing a defiant message on social media.
That perseverance could well pay dividends in 2026, with the SF-26 impressing during F1 pre-season testing. Alongside Mercedes, the Prancing Horse's latest challenger looks to be the early class of the field.
Whilst it remains to be seen whether it is the car to return Ferrari to title-winning ways after a near-two-decade drought, initial signs are promising that the package will be competitive.
