Ford Motorsport global director Mark Rushbrook has issued an update on Red Bull’s power unit for the 2026 F1 regulations, providing an important boost for Max Verstappen.
For the first time in its F1 history, Red Bull is producing its own engines rather than relying on a manufacturer such as Honda. Ford is on hand to offer technical support, a partnership that appears to be making positive progress.

Ferrari set for radical multi-version 2026 F1 car approach
Ferrari has confirmed that its 2026 Formula 1 car will be unveiled on 23 January, as the Scuderia aims to leave behind the limitations that plagued the SF-25 last season.
The SF-25 represented Ferrari's final ground-effect car, with the new technical regulations introducing sweeping changes to both car design philosophy and power unit design. These alterations mark the most significant rule changes since the previous generation was introduced in 2022.

Ford offers Red Bull engine reassurance after potential weakness raised
Ford Motorsport global director Mark Rushbrook has insisted that any deficit of Red Bull's engine to its competition will be "minimal," should it not be the quickest out of the blocks in 2026.
Under F1's new power unit regulations, Red Bull has taken on the mammoth task of becoming an engine manufacturer for the first time in its history.

F1 team bosses choose top 10 drivers from 2025
A new top 10 F1 drivers ranking from the 2025 season has been established following a vote from the sport's team principals.
Over the last handful of years, the bosses of each team have been asked to provide their own top 10 ranking following the end of the season.

Oscar Piastri hands out 'hungry' warning after Lando Norris F1 title defeat
Oscar Piastri has issued a warning that he is "hungry" and "ready" to go again next season after missing out on a maiden F1 drivers' title to team-mate Lando Norris.
A poor second half of the season saw Piastri slip to third in the drivers' standings, finishing 13 points behind Norris, despite having held a 34-point advantage after Zandvoort.
