Christian Horner has sparked fresh intrigue over his future career after making an appearance at the MotoGP weekend in Jerez.
The former Red Bull team boss was dismissed from the Milton Keynes-based squad midway through the 2025 campaign.
Horner has been linked to various projects since his exit, including a return to F1 as a co-owner with Alpine.
In a rare public appearance since his Red Bull exit, Horner was interviewed by TNT Sports at Jerez during the weekend, in which he was quizzed over his future.
When asked if he would be interested in getting involved in owning a team in MotoGP, Horner said: “I've just to come to learn a little bit more when I got some time, explore other forms of motorsport, which I didn't have time to do previously.
“I'm liking what I see, but there's always going to be speculation.”
Horner revealed it was the first time in over 20 years that he had had the chance to attend a MotoGP event due to the demands of his F1 role.
“I've got a bit of time on my hands, so the MotoGP guys and Liberty [Media] guys kindly invited me to have a look,” he added.
“I've always been a fan. I think it was Estoril 2005 the last time I was at a MotoGP race.
“It's great to come and see how the sport is doing and developing, and of course [there is] common ownership with F1 now.
“It's great to see the teams and riders and the enthusiasm there is for the sport.”
