Cadillac is to unveil its 2026 F1 livery during Super Bowl on February 8th.

With drivers Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez, General Motors is joining the F1 grid for the first time through its Cadillac brand from next season.

The team is to run a Ferrari power unit for the first year of the new technical regulations, and is led by former Marussia boss Graeme Lowdon.

The livery of the new machine will be unveiled during the AFL-NFL championship game - Super Bowl on Sunday, February 8th.

In 2025, the Philadelphia Eagles' victory over the Kansas City Chiefs attracted 127.7 million viewers, the largest audience for a single-network telecast in US history.

The half-time show by Kendrick Lamar attracted 133.5 million viewers.

A 30-second TV advert during the game is estimated to cost around $8 million.

"The Super Bowl is one of the rare moments in American culture where sports, entertainment and storytelling come together, and it gives us a chance to introduce Cadillac Formula 1 Team on a stage that reflects who we are," said CEO Dan Towriss.

"We’re proud of our American heritage, and we want to show up in a way that feels bold, innovative and distinctly ours. This is just the beginning, but it’s a moment I’m incredibly proud of."
