2026 F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix - Baku Time Schedule
Round 15 of the 2026 F1 season takes place this week with the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku.
Crucially, the race will be held on Saturday, September 26th, with the entire weekend shuffled forward one day, meaning practice is on Thursday, qualifying on Friday, and the race on Sunday.
This is due to the Azerbaijan Day of Remembrance, which happens annually on September 27th, meaning the weekend has moved one day forward.
It means the first of three free practice sessions starts at 12:30 local time on Thursday, 24th September. FP2 will be held at 16:00 local time.
Free Practice 3 will be at 12:30 local time on Friday, 25th September, with qualifying at 16:00 local time.
The 51-lap 2026 F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix begins in Baku at 15:00 local time on Saturday, September 26th.
Azerbaijan is three hours ahead of British Summer Time (BST) in the UK.
