Red Bull's Max Verstappen has set the pace in the opening practice session in Hungary, finishing ahead of Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas and his main the title rival Lewis Hamilton.
Verstappen, who leads the Drivers' Championship, went to the top of the timesheets towards the end of the session to go 0.061 seconds faster than Bottas who appeared to enjoy the handling of his Mercedes more than Hamilton.
Carlos Sainz was fourth, ahead of Pierre Gasly and Fernando Alonso whilst Yuki Tsunoda brought out the only red flag of the morning.
