Max Verstappen claimed another Formula 1 record during the Qatar Grand Prix weekend as he continues his historic campaign.
Red Bull driver Verstappen ended the race leading his 769th lap of the year - setting a new record for F1.
The record was previously held by Sebastian Vettel who claimed it at the end of the 2013 campaign - his final title-winning season in F1.
On the top 10 list, Verstappen features another two times with his leading lap tallies from 2021 and last year enough to see him present thrice.
Third on the all-time list is Nigel Mansell, who impressively still sits in third from his 1992 tally at the wheel of the dominant FW14B car despite the vastly reduced number of races compared to the present day.
Verstappen has five more races to add to his record before the season comes to an end.
