Lewis Hamilton's breakthrough victory for Ferrari was in the first-ever Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix.
Held as the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya lost the 'Spanish Grand Prix' to the new Madring, the race was the 40th different grand prix Hamilton had competed in during his long career, which now stands at 387 starts, having only missed one race.
This was the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix, but as he was diagnosed with COVID-19 in the build-up, he was not entered into the race.
Of the 40 grands prix he has been entered into since his debut at the 2007 Australian GP, Hamilton has won 32 of them - a record he extended by winning the first Barcelona-Catalunya race, drawing two clear of Max Verstappen.
In the 'missing' eight races on Hamilton's CV, they include one race which will never be held again, meaning he can never win it.
This was the one-off 70th Anniversary Grand Prix, held at Silverstone in 2020 as the British venue hosted back-to-back races in the COVID-19-hit season. Hamilton finished second to Verstappen.
Elsewhere, of the remaining seven, four of them are on the current calendar, meaning Hamilton could add them to his list in the future - but in the case of the Dutch GP at Zandvoort, he must win the 2026 race.
For 2027, Zandvoort is to drop off the calendar, meaning it is unlikely that if Hamilton does not win in August 2026, he will never stand on the top step on the coast of the North Sea.
Of the eight races he has entered but never won, Hamilton has finished second at six of them - meaning the only races he has taken part in but never scored a podium at are the Indian and Miami Grands Prix.
Owing to concerns over the tax status of the race, it is unlikely F1 will ever race in India again.
Hamilton's record of scoring 38 podiums from the 40 grands prix he has taken part in is also a record, three ahead of Verstappen on 35 (from 39 races).
