Red Bull technical director Pierre Wache cast a downbeat figure after F1 pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit.

The Frenchman explained the three days of running did not quite go as planned for the Milton Keynes squad, bemoaning the RB21, which "did not respond" how Red Bull wanted on a consistent basis.

Why Verstappen and Russell will escape punishment for F1 test swearing

Neither Max Verstappen nor George Russell will face any repercussions for swearing during F1 pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit.

Both's respective infractions went viral online over the three-day test, with eagle-eyed and eagle-eared viewers highlighting they had fallen foul of the FIA's new rules pertaining to bad language. There is, however, a key reason as to why neither will be sanctioned.

Hamilton among the biggest winners from 2025 F1 pre-season testing

Questions do remain about just where Hamilton stacks up after he did not set a true race-style run across testing, but his first pre-season test went just about as well as he could have hoped.

He was a driver who felt thoroughly disconnected from the Mercedes under him in the last couple of years, and whilst it was nothing conclusive, he looked and sounded more at ease in the SF-25 than any Mercedes of the ground effects era.

Stella backs Norris assessment over early weakness of new McLaren

McLaren boss Andrea Stella believes Lando Norris's comments about rear instability being a weakness of the new MCL39 "are fair."

Despite setting an eye-catching long run on Thursday, Norris struggled with oversteer and understeer throughout his time in the car, including a big snap at Turn 4 which forced him to engage reverse gear to get back on track.

Tsunoda confirms key split after Red Bull snub

Yuki Tsunoda has confirmed a split from his managers after he missed out on a promotion to Red Bull this year.

Tsunoda was linked with a move to the front-running squad late last season when it emerged Red Bull and Sergio Perez were heading towards a split.

The time for testing is over and for the analysis to begin. 

Pre-season testing is now in the history books after just three days of running in Bahrain, with two weeks before the opening race of 2025 in Australia.
