Red Bull technical director Pierre Waché has delivered an update on the team's upside-down rear wing, which has been removed for this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix.
The decision to return to the original-spec rear wing follows Max Verstappen suffering accidents at back-to-back events in Austria and Silverstone, caused by a flaw with the part.
Red Bull introduced its upside-down rear wing at the Miami Grand Prix, making the Belgian GP the first race in more than two months in which it has not been used.
Verstappen and Hadjar both enjoyed solid opening days at Spa-Francorchamps despite returning to a rear wing that offers less top speed and overall performance.
The Dutchman was fastest in first practice before finishing third in second practice, while Hadjar completed the top five.
"Overall, we made a good start," said Waché. "Spa is quite a tricky circuit in terms of energy recovery and deployment.
"In FP1 and FP2 we were looking at multiple strategies to deal with that. It looks quite open at the moment.
"The balance is not perfect, and we saw some degradation on the long run, so we have some work to do to prepare for qualifying. However, it’s a good starting point to improve upon."

Red Bull upside-down rear wing soon to return
Red Bull has confirmed that a "mechanical issue" was found with its upside-down rear wing, but that a fix has already been identified.
The hope is for it to return soon, although Waché has stressed that it will not be reintroduced until the team can ensure both drivers are able to use it safely.
"Regarding the change of the rear wing, we identified a mechanical problem and we have a fix in place," he added. "So we will try to bring back the original wing soon.
"However, our first priority is to make sure that the car is completely safe for the drivers as we don't want to take any risks."
