Alpine is set to become the fourth Formula 1 team to unveil its 2024 challenger this afternoon that the team hopes will improve its fortunes after a tough '23.
The Enstone team is unveiling both its 2024 F1 and WEC machines at the motorsport season launch, with the F1 squad looking to bounce back with the A524 after a turbulent season just gone in which it slipped from fourth to sixth in the standings and lost a number of senior technical and management figures.
Driver line-up Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon managed to scoop a podium each in 2023 and will be hoping that the new car can more consistently deliver strong results in the tight midfield.
Alpine is to join Haas, Stake Sauber and Williams in launching their new machines, with pre-season testing starting on February 21st, the week before the first race of the new season.
Mick Schumacher is also set to be present, in his new role as an Alpine WEC driver, which he will dovetail with Mercedes reserve driver duties.
