After Max Verstappen topped the time in Free Practice 1 for the 2023 British Grand Prix, the Formula 1 field will be hoping to rein him in during this afternoon's second session.
The World Champion finished ahead of team-mate Sergio Perez and surprise package Alex Albon as the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell were only 12th and 14th - but did not run the Soft tyres.
Can anyone catch Verstappen in the second session?
The answer was a resounding no as he topped FP2, but only by 0.022s from Carlos Sainz, but it wasn't smooth for Ferrari as Charles Leclerc missed the whole session with an electrical problem.
Elsewhere, it was a poor day for the British trio of drivers although Alexander Albon impressed, the London-born Thai ending FP2 in third place.
