Lewis Hamilton believes increasing his aggressiveness and confidence on the brakes could help unlock pace in his Ferrari.
One of Hamilton's major adaptations in 2025 has been to the use of Brembo brake materials at Ferrari, with former team Mercedes using Carbon Industries during his 12 years with the team.
Hamilton has struggled with the balance of the SF-25 throughout the year, but believes that building up his confidence under braking could help find more performance.
"I think there are some improvements to be made in terms of how aggressive I can be," he told media, including RacingNews365.
"The car has been quite snappy, so I'm still not 100% confident on the brakes when I'm attacking on the brakes.
"[At Monza] I was, but [in Azerbaijan], it didn't feel better with the set-up we had, but it is progressing."
Hamilton also tipped Red Bull to become more of a resurgent threat in the race to finish second in the constructors', with Mercedes in second, leading Ferrari by four points and Red Bull by 18 heading to the Singapore Grand Prix.
"McLaren has been ahead all year, and we haven't made any steps or improvements, so we are a good couple of steps behind," Hamilton added.
"Red Bull took an upgraded floor [in Italy], and they've now picked up their pace, so I expect they're probably going to win a few races."
