The decision has been made - Yuki Tsunoda will race for Red Bull at the Japanese Grand Prix.
Tsunoda has finally been called up to the senior team in his fifth F1 season as he steps in for Liam Lawson who struggled considerably during his first two races with the team.
Tsunoda was overlooked on several occasions in the past by Red Bull but declared last time out in China that he was “100%” ready for the drive at the team.
Lawson's difficulties did not mark the first time a driver has struggled for form alongside Max Verstappen.
Before him, Pierre Gasly, Alex Albon and Sergio Perez were all criticised for their performances compared to the four-time F1 champion.
But is Tsunoda set to suffer the same fate? Have your say in our latest poll below!
