After races in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Australia opened the season, the 2022 F1 calendar returns to Europe this weekend for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

Imola has been a regular fixture in the Formula 1 schedule since it made a comeback in 2020 following a 14-year absence, and this year the venue will additionally play host to a Sprint race in a change from the usual format.
