Ferrari has showcased the one-off livery it will use at the Miami Grand Prix this weekend.
The livery is part of Ferrari's celebration of being present in the North American market for 70 years, as well as its new title sponsorship deal with HP.
The duo of blue colours, called Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino, will be used on Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz's challengers for the race weekend.
Ferrari highlighted the shades were “part of daily life in Maranello for many years and are now coming back into play after an absence of around fifty years”.
The shade of blue will be on the wings, the engine cover, the halo, the rear-view mirrors, the race numbers and also the wheel rims.
The latter is a nod back to a feature on the Ferrari cars in the 1960s, including the 158 F1 that delivered John Surtees to championship glory in 1964.
“The upcoming Miami Grand Prix will be one to remember in the history of our team, as in Florida we will be celebrating our heritage through a unique livery, rediscovering two colours that are part of our history,” said team principal Frederic Vasseur.
“It will also be a very special race as we are glad to welcome the arrival of our new title partner HP.”
Ferrari enters the round having secured a race win earlier this year in Australia through Sainz.
The previous event in China marked a difficult weekend for Ferrari as it was the first race this season at which it failed to score a top three result.
