Max Verstappen claimed his fifth pole position of the season in a wet qualifying session for the Canadian Grand Prix - as Nico Hulkenberg starred with second place prior to his grid penalty.
Verstappen's nearest title rival Sergio Perez was once again dumped out in Q2, along with Charles Leclerc. Fernando Alonso qualified in third prior to Hulkenberg's penalty, with Lewis Hamilton setting the fourth-fastest time for Mercedes.
