Max Verstappen completed a Friday clean sweep at the British Grand Prix by finishing fastest in second practice.
The F1 championship leader set a benchmark of 1:28.078, finishing 0.022secs faster than Ferrari's Carlos Sainz, with Alex Albon springing a surprise by taking third for Williams.
The Grove-based outfit's pace was confirmed by Logan Sargeant's effort for fifth, with the second Red Bull of Sergio Perez splitting the two Williams drivers.
Lance Stroll was the fastest Aston Martin driver in sixth, closely followed by Haas' Nico Hulkenberg and Alpine driver Pierre Gasly.
McLaren has given Oscar Piastri his version of its latest upgrade package - the Australian finishing ninth fastest ahead of Fernando Alonso.
Mercedes' struggles continued with George Russell 12th and Lewis Hamilton only 15th. But the Silver Arrows' issues paled in comparison to Charles Leclerc's - the Monégasque unable to take any part as Ferrari investigated an electrical issue.
