Carlos Sainz set the pace during the second practice session of the British Grand Prix weekend.
Sainz's best time of 1:28.942 around the Silverstone Circuit put him 0.163 seconds clear of Lewis Hamilton, while another Briton, Lando Norris, took third.
Championship leader Max Verstappen claimed fourth, Charles Leclerc put in the fifth fastest time and Fernando Alonso slotted into P6.
