Lewis Hamilton set the pace in an uninterrupted opening practice session for the Italian Grand Prix, with championship rival Max Verstappen second but close to half a second back.
The Mercedes driver set his time of 1:20.926 on the Medium tyre, benefitting from a small slipstream from AlphaTauri's Yuki Tsunoda to take top spot.
Valtteri Bottas finished with the third fastest time while Lance Stroll Ricciardo and Pierre Gasly rounded out the top five.
