The Williams F1 team will serve a double penalty at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The squad has confirmed it has replaced the gearboxes on both Alex Albon and Franco Colapinto's cars.
The Grove-based outfit has endured a tough time of late and has had numerous crashes across the last handful of events.
Colapinto's race lasted just one corner last weekend in Qatar when he was involved in a multi-car incident.
It added to the crash-ridden experience Williams has endured in recent times, resulting in a gearbox grid drop for the race around the Yas Marina Circuit.
“Alex and Franco will each take a 5-place grid penalty in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix due to the use of additional RNC gearbox components,” the team said.
“It’s an unfortunate consequence of the incidents that occurred during last week’s grand prix which were beyond Alex and Franco’s control, but we will give it our all to finish the season on a strong note.“
