Max Verstappen will line up in pole position for the Spanish Grand Prix, where he will share the front row with Carlos Sainz
Verstappen set a lap of 1:12.272 around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, putting him over four tenths of a second clear of Sainz in P2.
Lando Norris claimed an impressive third, while Lewis Hamilton is promoted to fourth after Pierre Gasly was dropped six places on the grid for impeding other drivers.
Lance Stroll and Esteban Ocon share the third row, while Charles Leclerc starts back in P19 after a nightmare qualifying session.
Sunday's 66-lap race will start at 15:00 local time (14:00 BST).
