Two drivers picked up penalty points at the Japanese Grand Prix held at the famous Suzuka Circuit last weekend.

Sergio Perez picked up four points - two for a Safety Car infringement and another two for colliding with Kevin Magnussen.

Logan Sargeant also added two more points to his tally after crashing with Valtteri Bottas.

Perez is now tied for the most penalty points in the field, with both himself and Aston Martin's Lance Stroll the only drivers who are halfway towards a race ban.

Should a driver take 12 points in the space of 12 months, they are handed an automatic race ban for the next applicable race.

Only four drivers have a clean copybook: Valtteri Bottas, Esteban Ocon, Oscar Piastri and Kevin Magnussen.
