Max Verstappen will be joined by a sixth F1 team-mate in 2025 as Liam Lawson replaces Sergio Perez.
Following a dismal 2024 season, Perez parted company with the team after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, with Kiwi Lawson handed the seat, having been preferred to RB team-mate Yuki Tsunoda.
Perez was Verstappen's longest-serving team-mate at four complete seasons, and by the raw numbers, the most successful with five grand prix wins, with the other three combining for only four wins in total - all through Daniel Ricciardo.

Verstappen vs Sainz
Verstappen and Sainz both made their F1 debuts in 2015 for Toro Rosso as Red Bull junior drivers.
The pairing lasted just over one season as Verstappen was called up to the senior squad just a handful of rounds into the following campaign.

Verstappen vs Galy
The Verstappen and Gasly pairing at Red Bull was short-lived - but Verstappen easily had the measure of the Frenchman.
Gasly had just half a season alongside Verstappen before he was demoted back to Toro Rosso midway through the 2019 campaign.

Verstappen vs Albon
Albon was afforded more time at Red Bull alongside Verstappen and despite showing flashes of pace at times, he too could not match Verstappen's display.
Albon was dropped at the end of the 2020 campaign but has since made a name for himself at the Williams team.

Perez sits as Verstappen's longest-serving team-mate as the duo had four full seasons together.
Although Perez was able to enjoy more success than any other driver alongside Verstappen (bar perhaps Ricciardo), Perez was always in the shadow of Verstappen's performances.
