Carlos Sainz is to sit out his media duties ahead of this weekend's São Paulo Grand Prix due to him feeling unwell.

The Williams driver was scheduled to speak with the written and broadcast media at Interlagos to preview the next few days, which features a sprint as well as the main event on Sunday.

Lewis Hamilton demands FIA changes after controversial F1 incidents

Lewis Hamilton has demanded the FIA make changes to its penalty processes after a series of controversial incidents in the Mexico City GP.

At Turn 1 of the race, both Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc cut across the grass and gained positions whilst Hamilton, who stuck to the track, lost out.

Max Verstappen hopeful of Lewis Hamilton assist in McLaren F1 title hunt

Max Verstappen is hopeful the Ferrari's of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc as well as Mercedes can further aid his bid to catch McLaren in the F1 title race.

After the Mexico City GP, Verstappen finds himself 36 points behind points leader Lando Norris, and 35 behind Oscar Piastri with 116 left in the final four rounds.

Lance Stroll issues two-word response to Aston Martin F1 exit rumour

Lance Stroll has rubbished a rumour by former Aston Martin F1 reserve driver Felipe Drugovich that he was prepared to leave grand prix racing in 2024.

Stroll has been with Aston Martin and its predecessor team Racing Point since 2019, with Drugovich signed after winning the 2021 F2 title as a reserve driver.

F1 champion unveils emotional tribute ahead of retirement

Jenson Button will bring the curtain down on his motorsport career this weekend at the season-ending 8 hours of Bahrain in the World Endurance Championship.

The 2009 F1 drivers' champion races for Cadillac Hertz Team Jota in the hypercar class, and has gained experience in various motorsport disciplines since his final F1 race in 2017, including winning the Super GT title the following year.

Lando Norris makes 'forgetting' claim after major F1 title status change

Lando Norris insists he is not thinking about his new status as the F1 drivers' championship leader, and that he is better at "forgetting" quickly.

Norris reclaimed the lead of the drivers' standings for the first time since Saudi Arabia with a dominant win in Mexico last time out, which coupled with Oscar Piastri's fifth place, meant Norris retook the lead by a single point.
